HiDALGO is developing novel methods, algorithms and software for HPC and HPDA to accurately model and simulate the complex processes, which arise in connection with major global challenges. The project enables highly accurate simulations, data analytics and data visualization, and also provides knowledge on how to integrate the various workflows as well as the corresponding data.
HiDALGO develops a simulation framework for several highly complex processes that arise in connection with the global challenges mentioned above, and integrate different approaches in order to establish a sustainable Centre of Excellence. Furthermore, HiDALGO will address a number of multidisciplinary scientific objectives to advance innovation in HPC and big data technologies.
Atos coordinates HiDALGO and it has three additional major roles in the project.
- Firstly, Atos leads the exploitation and business sustainability activities.
- Secondly, Atos contributes to the methods and tools for addressing global challenges, including activities in HPDA.
- Thirdly, Atos brings experience in marketplaces, HPC resources management, applications orchestration and monitoring.
